Weenees Pouch Pants have a colourful stretchy cotton elastin outer over-nap with an inner waterproof “Pouch” which can be removed if soiled.
You simply place an Eenee Microfiber Cloth Nappy (or any cloth nappy, folded into the shape of a pad) in the pouch and change it as necessary so there’s no need to change the outer Weenee each time. At change time just whip out the nappy/pad and replace with a fresh one or if the inner pouch is soiled, this gets taken out and a spare pouch snap fastened in.
- Always keep several Weenees Pouch Pants ready. Simply insert the nappy into the snap-in liner ahead of time.
- For a speedy diaper change, use an entirely clean Weenee instead of snapping out the liner and building a new Weenee on the spot.
- You do NOT need to wash the outer or the snap-in liner with every change, if it is damp inside just air it out and then “pre-load” it with a clean nappy/pad ready for the next change
- We recommend having at least four Weenees Pouch Pants and washing them every couple of days or so. Just wash them as you would your own jeans – just because you do.
- Double up for night time use, leaving the second (microfiber) nappy folded over twice– in the front for boys and in the middle for girls.
- Also at nights for heavy wetters use the long lasting Soft Waterproof Eenee Pull-ups over the Weenees at nights for extra protection.
- Place a stay dry flushable Eenee Nappy liner over the nappy to help keep baby dry and comfortable, and clean up of soiled nappies will be much easier.
- When you’re out and about keep several Weenees ready to use in your Nappy Bag. Use a pre-loaded Weenee at every change. (It’s just easier this way!)
We also have Eenee Earth Friendly Disposable Pads which can be thrown onto the compost heap (if not soiled) & completely biodegrade within a few weeks; these can even be flushed down the toilet for totally hygenice disposal -see below for instructions.
The Weenees are non-absorbent and are ‘breathable’ minimizing bulk, smell and drying time and there are no overheated bottoms as can be experienced with some plastic pants.
Also because you don't have to change the whole Weenee each time you only need 3 or 4 outers with 3 or 4 extra inner pouches saving money.
The pouch, which clips into the outer pant has been designed to improve the holding capacity of the pad and has cut down on leakage dramatically. They are the most efficient design yet for containing messy nappies and they also make changing much easier.
The pouch is easy to wash and dry quickly which means you save on washing, water, energy, and work. Just put the pad in and Velcro them on for a convenient leak proof system.
